Funding

At Community Action IW we have a wide variety of tools, techniques and tips to help support you in raising income for your organisation. From assisting in project planning and development, setting up a budget and sourcing the right place to apply, we can support you in every step of your fundraising journey.

We have good relationships with local and national funders like the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Community Foundation, the Isle of Wight Clinical Commission Group, BIG Lottery, Lloyds TSB and Children in Need and can help you prepare a successful application.

We can support you in identifying diverse ways of generating income to ensure you don’t have all your eggs in one basket. Ensuring your organisation has access and knowledge about a wide spectrum of funding sources including grants, contracts and trading.

The Isle of Wight Council offers a host of information about their grant programmes, which third sector organisations can apply to. Current  prospectuses and expressions of interest are provided on their website.

There are a range of ways to search for funds and the find the right opportunity for your organisation. This can be via freely accessible websites such as Funding Central or by accessing subscription services such as Grants online through us.
