Becoming A Trusted Trustee & Good Governance
When: Weds 15th Nov 9:30 – 16:30

Being a charity Trustee today is a responsible role. What are you obliged to do? What are you allowed to do (or not)? And did you know that you have recently been given some more freedoms … so it might be useful to know how to use them wisely?
If you would like answers to all these questions, please join us for a day’s in-person workshop on 15 November. The workshop’s theme: Becoming a Trusted Trustee. We will cover your legal obligations and liabilities, how Trustees operate, what your leadership role looks like and what constitutes good governance. There will be round-table networking and table-top exercises as well as training segments. You will also get a workbook to take away as a reference tool.
Your facilitator for the day will be Astrid Davies, who worked with the Island’s voluntary sector for a decade and who now runs her own leadership consultancy from the New Forest.
