Celebrating Children & Young People

The search is on!
Do you know a child or young person in your group (up to 25 years old) who
deserves recognition for their achievements despite facing adversity? We are
now open for nominations for the High Sherif’s Children and Young People’s
Awards 2021
Closing . date for applications is Friday 5th February 2021.
The presentation of awards will take place on Monday 29th March 2021 at The
Broadway Centre, 1 Broadway, Sandown PO36 9GG, between 6pm and 8pm.
The High Sherif’s Awards celebrate the achievements of children and young people who have overcome
adversity and become positive role models, helped their community – or maybe both! We celebrate their
success through the awards as we hope to encourage attendance at school and direct those who are
vulnerable away from crime, anti-social behaviour, substance misuse or unsuitable activities.
Every nomination will be considered by a panel, chaired by the High Sherif. If you have any questions about
the nomination process, please contact the High Sherif at
Please find enclosed a copy of the nomination form (please duplicate this form for additional nominees).
Please return the form to: or The Point Cottage, Beach Road, Bembridge, PO35 5NQ
I look forward to receiving your nominations and thank you for your help in making these awards a success.
Best wishes
Caroline Peel
