Funding

At Community Action IW we have a wide variety of tools, techniques and tips to help support you in raising income for your organisation. From assisting in project planning and development, setting up a budget and sourcing the right place to apply, we can support you in every step of your fundraising journey.

We have good relationships with local and national funders like the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Community FoundationBIG Lottery, Lloyds TSB and Children in Need and can help you prepare a successful application.

We can support you in identifying diverse ways of generating income to ensure you don’t have all your eggs in one basket. Ensuring your organisation has access and knowledge about a wide spectrum of funding sources including grants, contracts and trading.

There are a range of ways to search for funds and the find the right opportunity for your organisation.

This can by accessing subscription services such as Grants online through us, or My Funding Central which costs £50 per year to organisations with a turnover of up to £30K per year

The Grantway portal is designed to be simple and user-friendly, with a design that is easily accessible to anyone.

The portal is entirely free of charge for you to use.  Maintenance and updates are financed by advertisers that comply with the NHS ad policy.

Grantway works by allowing the user to enter relevant keywords and set specific search filters so that they can find the most appropriate grants and funding opportunities to meet their organisation’s needs.

The user can share the relevant grants that they discover with their friends and colleagues so that all relevant stakeholders can gain access to the details.
