Voluntary Sector Forum
The primary purpose of the Voluntary Sector Forum (VSF), as set out in the VSF Terms of Reference, is to provide a mechanism for effective voluntary sector representation and engagement with the work of the local Health & Well-Being Board and its constituent parts. Membership of the VSF is free and open to any voluntary sector organisation.
It also aims to promote working relationships within the voluntary and community sector and between the sector and public sector partners, to promote voluntary and community activity and support the development of good practice.
Dates for the Voluntary Sector Forum Meetings in 2019 are as follows:
13th November 9.30 to 11.30
– all at Riverside starting at 09.30.
Representatives elected from the Voluntary Sector Forum are appointed to the Health and Wellbeing Board, its associated sub groups and Safeguarding boards.

Michael was elected as a Ryde Town Councillor in 2016 and in 2017 was elected as an IW Councillor to represent Ryde East. He sits in both Councils as an Independent. Claire is Children’s Service manager for Barnardos: she oversees the delivery of services across the locality with the support of an experienced team of family workers and Early years practitioners plus administrators. A key part of the role is to build relationships with partners in health, education, schools, youth services and beyond.
