Room Hire
The Riverside Centre offers a range of rooms and facilities for you to hire as an individual, group or business.
Rooms are available to hire from 8.00am to 12.00am midnight, Monday to Friday. For Saturday enquiries, please email roomhire@actioniw.org for availability and rates. The centre is closed on Sundays.
Our rates are extremely competitive and we can provide catering, tailored to meet your needs.
We ask that you order lunches at the time of booking with a minimum of 7 days notice, you can view our current lunch menu here. Cold drinks, chocolate bars and snacks are available to buy from the bar.
Our team are here to help you make your event or business meeting a success. We welcome the opportunity to show you around our facilities, but please make an appointment to do so in advance in order that we can check room availability before your visit.
Parking is available on site. All users of the car park must enter their registration number on the iPad located in the reception. Failure to do so will result in a fine being issued. There are also a number of Isle of Wight Council car parks within easy walking distance. Cycle parking is available on site too.

Trafalgar Room
The Trafalgar Room is the largest room available for hire with a maximum capacity of 200 people when seated theatre style. This large hall has a wooden floor and offers the flexibility to have the layout you require making it ideally suited for conferences and weddings. There is a licensed bar that is directly accessible from the Trafalgar Room.
The Trafalgar Room also has a PA system, projector, laptop and induction loop for use.
Hunnyhill Room
The Hunnyhill Room is our most popular and versatile room overlooking the River Medina. It caters for up to 70 people and is an ideal venue for large sized meetings and smaller parties.
The Hunnyhill has an induction loop, overhead projection and flipcharts available.
Little London Room
The Little London Room has lots of natural light and looks over the River Medina with a capacity of 50 people. With a wooden floor, Little London hosts a licensed bar which can be opened upon request and is situated directly next to the Trafalgar Room. This room is perfectly designed for daytime training events or evening parties.
Carisbrooke Room
Our smaller room with the capacity of up to 20 people depending upon seating arrangements. This room is ideal venues for smaller sized meetings or training purposes.
