The Isle of Wight is set to benefit from Rally Round, a free digital network which enables family members, friends, carers and communities to create and organise support for themselves or someone they care about.
Rally Round allows users to create a secure online network of people they know and trust to help out with day to day tasks.
Up to £500 funding has been made available by the Isle Of Wight Council to groups, organisations and enterprises to provide additional activities and/or equipment to increase and enhance young people’s engagement in youth services, activities and provisions over a period of 6 months .The provision must be targeted towards young people aged between 11 and 19 (up to 25 with specified additional needs).
Unfortunately and unexpectedly Island Roads have just imposed an Emergency closure on the road which leads to the Riverside Centre as they have found the little bridge to be unsafe. This means that access to the Riverside Centre is now along Fairlee Road, turn into Seaclose and when you reach the Premier Inn turn left along the Quay to make your way to the Riverside Centre.
Community Action Isle of Wight is now in a position to offer Portable Appliance Testing to the community and voluntary sector. We have recently recruited a PAT test volunteer by the name of John. If you would like to make use of this service, please fill in this form Community Action Isle of Wight – pat test request form and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org
PAT testing will be delivered free of charge, but you will need to cover the travel costs of our volunteer at 45p a mile.
