The Community Law Service is a small team of part time staff that are assisted by our incredible volunteers.
Our Staff

Gretel Halson Ingham
Law Service Co-Ordinator
Gretel has 20+ years experience working in housing, managing specialist and general needs properties and now delivering specialist advice and advocacy services. She has 4 years experience as a LAA Supervisor. She is working towards Solicitor qualification under the SQE programme, and is particularly interested in the rights of those in alternative forms of accommodation i.e. mobile homes, boats and caravans.

Tom Cranshaw
Housing Adviser
Tom has worked as a Housing Assessor, now a Housing Adviser, for 7 years and specialises in reviewing homelessness decisions.

Julieann Nicoll
Solicitor
Julieann is an experienced housing solicitor of over 10 years, with a masters in construction law. She has worked on cases in most areas of housing law, specialising in housing disrepair.

Sandy Belfitt
Housing Assessor / Immigration Adviser
Sandy is an Immigration Advice Authority accredited Level 1 Immigration Adviser. She is Citizens Advice general advice trained, with 8 years experience working in advice organisations.

Misha Cooke
Housing Adviser
Misha is a housing adviser with over five years’ experience, with a keen interest in the complexities and nuances of legislation.

Jim Mann
Law Student / Housing Assessor
Jim is a Law Student who volunteers some of his time with CLS to get more experience of working with clients in housing law.

Leanne Pike
Housing Assessor
Leanne is a Volunteer Housing and Welfare Benefit specialist who is using her time with CLS to increase her skills and knowledge.

Morgan Turner
Housing Assessor
Morgan is a Volunteer with CAIW, working on the Reception. They spends some of their volunteering time assisting CLS with processing documents.
