With effect from 20 October 2014, organisations are being invited to bid for £15,500 funding to provide youth activities in Sandown as part of the Isle of Wight Council’s new youth offer. The funding, which is to cover a two and half year period until 31 March 2017, must be used to provide activities for 11 to 19 year olds (up to 25 years for those with additional needs) in the Sandown area only.
MY LIFE A FULL LIFE – NEW MENTAL HEALTH PROSPECTUS LAUNCHED
A mental health prospectus have been issued for funding opportunities relating to the My Life a Full Life programme My Life a Full Life Mental Health Prospectus 2014.
The aim of this prospectus is to work towards building the capacity of voluntary and community sector self-help groups and support organisations for people with mental health issues on the Isle of Wight through working in partnership with the Third Sector.
Following the first round of applications to deliver youth services on the Island in July, further applications are being invited from the business, community and voluntary sectors for funding to deliver youth services for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) young people on the Island.
