Community Youth Offer
Community Action IW works in partnership with the Isle of Wight Council to deliver the Community Youth Offer. We provide advice, guidance and support, to the 11 commissioned providers across the Island, who are delivering youth services to 11-19 year olds (25 years old with additional needs).
The Providers deliver a range of services to children and young people that are fun, exciting and engaging, but also confidence building, promote self-awareness and contribute to their health, wellbeing and social development.
Community Action supports their delivery by offering advice on project development and organisation, capacity building, funding advice and structure. We also seek to engage the larger community of organisations on the Island who sit outside of the Community Youth Offer, so that opportunities for partnership working can take place, promoting choice, good practice, innovation and improving the delivery of youth services to all children and young people.
